In tech sales, you're essentially selling technology products and services to other businesses (B2B). Searching "business development" on LinkedIn shows 284,000 entry-level results posted in the last month, while "sales development" shows 103,000. Next, we have digital marketing. Digital marketing roles are essential for the success of various online platforms. Over the last month, LinkedIn listed 92,000 entry-level digital marketing jobs, with an average salary of $76,000 a year. It's a versatile field that appeals to many, especially if tech sales isn't your thing.

Third is web development. Typing "web development" into LinkedIn shows 101,000 entry-level results, with web developers making about $98,000 a year. This career requires more learning, but it’s a fantastic option for those willing to put in the effort.

Fourth, software development is another lucrative field. LinkedIn lists 300,000 entry-level software development positions, with an average salary of $111,000 a year. While it's challenging to break into, the demand and pay are high.

Fifth, software quality assurance (QA) testers are crucial for ensuring software is bug-free. Searching "quality assurance" on LinkedIn shows 108,000 entry-level positions, with QA testers earning around $93,000 a year. There are many boot camps available to get you started in this in-demand career.

Sixth, information technology (IT) roles involve working with computer systems within companies. LinkedIn lists 134,000 entry-level IT jobs, with salaries around $72,000 a year. Specializing in IT can lead to even higher pay.

Seventh, cybersecurity focuses on protecting a company's data. LinkedIn shows 43,000 entry-level positions for "cybersecurity," 52,000 for "computer security," and 62,000 for "IT security." Cybersecurity professionals earn about $91,000 a year. Starting in IT before transitioning to cybersecurity is common.
